Running a summer sale
Goal: take a percentage off every activity for a defined date range.- Type: Percentage
- Amount: e.g. 15%
- Applies to: Activities (optionally narrow to specific activities)
- Auto apply: On — customers don’t need to enter a code
- Limits:
- Purchase date — the sale window (e.g. 1 June – 31 August)
- Optionally activity date range if you only want it to apply to activities running in summer
Rewarding customers who have booked before
Goal: thank returning customers automatically.- Type: Fixed or percentage
- Auto apply: On
- Limits:
- Previous purchase — the activity (or set of activities) the customer must have booked before
- Optionally constrain to within the last N days for active customers only
Giving a group discount
Goal: cheaper price when a single booking has 4 or more people.- Type: Fixed or percentage
- Auto apply: Off (or on — your call)
- Limits:
- Minimum tickets — set to 4
Making hire cheaper the longer someone books
Goal: a customer who hires 3 hours pays less per hour than someone who hires 1.- Type: Tiered (see tiered discounts)
- Applies to: Activities only (tiered isn’t available on shop products)
- Auto apply: On
- Tiers: for example, £0 off the first hour, £10 off each from 2 hours, £15 off each from 3 hours
Giving a discount for booking in advance
Goal: reward customers who book well ahead.- Type: Fixed or percentage
- Limits:
- Early booking — set the minimum days ahead (e.g. 30)
Giving a discount for last-minute bookings
Goal: fill last-minute capacity.- Type: Fixed or percentage
- Limits:
- Last minute (surge) — within N days of the activity start
Giving a discount for booking multiple activities together
Goal: a bundle deal for booking Activity A and Activity B together.- Type: Fixed or percentage
- Limits:
- Activity combination — select every activity that must be present
Giving a discount automatically
Goal: a discount that just works, with no code to share.- Code: Leave blank
- Auto apply: On
- Applies to: Activities or memberships (the supported types for auto-apply)
- Limits: Whatever conditions you need — purchase date, activity date range, etc.
Sharing a code and tracking its usage
Goal: hand out a discount code and see who used it.- Pick a memorable code (e.g.
SUMMER25). - Add a usage limit if you want a hard cap.
- Optionally add a max usages per family limit for a one per customer rule.
- After launch, open the code’s detail page to see the Baskets using this code table — every basket where the code was successfully applied, with status and customer.
