What add-ons are
Add-ons are separate from memberships and plans. The same add-on (for example Boat storage) can be linked to multiple plans without recreating it each time. Each add-on is either:- Recurring — billed automatically every cycle (e.g. £10/month for storage)
- One-time — charged once (e.g. a £25 joining fee)
How add-ons combine with plans
When you link an add-on to a plan, you can set plan-specific pricing. For example:- On the Monthly Standard plan, Boat storage costs £10/month.
- On the Yearly plan, Boat storage costs £100/year.
Creating and reusing add-ons
Before creating a new add-on, check whether one already exists — they’re shared across your account, and reusing keeps pricing and reporting consistent. To create a new add-on:1
Open the Add-ons tab
From the Memberships dashboard, switch to the Add-ons tab.
2
Click Create add-on
Set a name, description, and choose One-time or Recurring.
3
Save and link to plans
Save the add-on, then attach it to the plans where it should appear.
Managing add-ons on member subscriptions
From a plan’s detail page, you can review which members have each add-on. To add one to an individual member:- Open the member’s profile.
- Find the Linked add-ons section.
- Click +, pick the add-on, and save.
Tips
- Always check the Add-ons tab before creating a new one — reuse keeps your reporting clean.
- Use Recurring for ongoing services and One-time for setup or joining fees.
- Set plan-specific prices so the cost matches the value of each plan.
